Tackling Recycling at Hansen

Many of our senior students are concluding their District Dogwood Scholarships.  Jashan has over the past year worked to lower the carbon footprint of the students.  Jashan is taking the next step and reaching out to our community to showcase the work she's done at the school level.

Recycling is one of the best ways for you to make a positive impact on the world in which we live. This is one of the ways many of us try to contribute towards a better future. Over the years Rick Hansen Secondary has been working towards making a positive difference on the environment. We have adapted to the recycling program that helps the environment in a significant way. There are different types of bins placed around the campus to help students and staff members recycle properly. This helps them reduce their carbon footprint. The following map of the schools shows where everyone is able to recycle all different types of material. If you want to learn more about recycling please have a look at the brochure.
