All students will be following the early dismissal schedule on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, Thursday, October 24, 2024.  Teachers will be reaching out to families of those students who are struggling in coursework to arrange a time to discuss progress. Families are also encouraged to reach out to teachers directly to make an appointment as well.

Buses will be running as normal, with pick up shortly after the early dismissal times.  Please see the adjusted schedule.

NOVEMBER 1, 2024 – Learning Enhancement Day

Learning Enhancement Day: DEFINITION

Take Our Kids to WorkTM is an annual national program in which Grade 9 (or equivalent) students are hosted by parents, friends, relatives and volunteers at workplaces across the country every November. The program supports career development by helping students connect school, the world of work, and their own futures.

It is an opportunity for students to explore career options, through:

IMPORTANT PROCEDURE CHANGE FOR STUDENT DROP OFF AND PICK UP

All drivers are asked to use the upper parking lot on Townline Road or the lower gravel lot on Blueridge Dr for student drop off and pick up.  PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF OR PICK UP STUDENTS IN THE FRONT LOT.

Due to the important safety considerations for the many students grades 6-12 who use district busing from RHSS, we ask that NO DROP OFF OR PICK UP take place in the front lot.  Families will be redirected to the upper or lower lots.
